Speed Up Internet Explorer

Kurt Shintaku's blog always has great tips, which is why I always keep going back to his posts.  In a recent post he reminds us that the default number of connections that Internet Explorer allows is only two (2).  It is possible to change this behavior, and in the process speed up downloads, but adding two simple entries in your registry.  You should read through the original posting on Computerworld and then if you choose to add this feature you can simply download the registry file I attached to this blog.  Simply rename the file from IE_MaxConnections.reg.txt to IE_MaxConnections.reg and then double click on it.

IE_MaxConnections.reg.txt (418.00 bytes)
