Over my life I have done quite a bit of travel where I would inevitably stay at a hotel. Every time I left the room I was concerned that someone could come in and rummage through anything I may have left. From this video you can clearly see how simple it is to enter a hotel room virtually undetected.

Cyberwar, not China is the real threat

I have always held the believe that China has been successfully building their military and was somewhat close to our own strengths. But after reading a recent Atlantic article it is clear that China has a long way to go before they could ever be a military threat to the US. It was equally clear that the US has bigger fish to fry with regards to the risk of cyber war, with threats coming from all around the globe.

Remember back in the Windows 2003 days when you had to use the Microsoft Windows HTTP Services Certificate Configuration Tool to update the ACL on a specific certificate private key information. Well those days are long gone with Windows 2008.
